2 kinds of colon cancers are highly genetically influenced

My sister had gallbladder surgery, and during the operation the doctor found something he didn't like the looks of. It turned out to be a very large colon cancer. In 1980, I had colon cancer. Two of my other sisters have died of it. A doctor said we might have a gene of the Lynch syndrome. Anything you can tell us about this would be really appreciated.

Sweden goes after Pirate Bay

Different story if you were reading five comic books your friends lifted from the local corner store. File trading starts on the premise of a downloaded file that was not paid for. I'm not sure how one justifies in their mind the taking of intellectual property, such as a song or movie, off the Internet for free, when we'd be up in arms someone walked into our kitchen and helped themselves to the contents of our fridge. Preschool to Grade 4

This title was originally published in 1950, and Yaccarino's new illustrations retain the look of that era. The colors are uniform and flat throughout, and Ollie wears a navy suit with short pants and a bow tie. The illustrator plays with size and perspective; the boy's horn is sometimes larger than buildings. The book is mildly amusing but not an essential purchase.—Ieva Bates, Ann Arbor District Library, MI

Partizan - Hard-Fi shooting in sunny Berlin with Rozan & Schmeltz

Partizan's Grace Bodie bring us an exclusive on-set report and gallery from the latest Hard-Fi shoot with Rozan & Schmeltz in Berlin.

A Producer's Photo Diary by Grace Bodie / Partizan To check out the on-set photos, Click Here. So, when I was asked to write this diary about one of the shoots I was producing I started to panic. What if the generator blows up and all my crew die and I have to explain to you (and my boss) what exactly the hell happened? What if everyone hates each other, we run out of time, we don't get what we need, it rains, the camera breaks, the rushes get accidentally dropped in a lake and the artist gets food poisoning and doesn't show and the shoot is called off? AAAAAGGGHHH. THE SHAME. You will be be sad to hear, or rather I am over the moon to report, that the shoot that I am writing about went exceptionally smoothly (in fact so smooth it left us all looking over our shoulders waiting for a disaster to happen).
