Bruce, 36, was scheduled to make $5 million this year, including a $2 million roster bonus due Friday. A year ago, Bruce was cut but then was re-signed by the Rams. This time, St. Louis decided to part ways, leaving the Rams with Torry Holt and Drew Bennett as their top two receivers.
